Maison du Japon has renovated for awhile, it's my first time coming back after they renovated.

Korean bean sprout 韓式芽菜
- it's good =D

Shrimp tempura 大蝦天婦羅

Fried scallop 炸帶子

Mushroom tempura 蘑菇天婦羅

Curry Squid Ball 咖哩墨魚丸
-it's pretty good! =D

Short Ribs 照燒牛仔骨
- the sauce is pretty good! the ribs is pretty tender! =)

Black pepper beef 黑椒牛柳粒
- it's pretty good, the beef is tender! =)

Enoki Beef (Mushroom + beef roll) 金菇牛肉卷
- it's the best enoki beef i had at AYCE places =)
- the sauce is really good!

Mushroom with butter 日式炒蘑菇
- it says Japanese Style pan-fried mushroom, i don't see how it is "japanese style"

(left) Spider roll (soft shell crab roll) 軟殼蟹卷 (right) Black Dragon roll 黑龍卷
- they were alright, nothing special..

(left) Eel hand roll 鰻魚手卷 (right) spicy salmon hand roll 辣三文魚手卷
- they put a big piece of eel in the hand roll, it goes all the way to the end =)
- the rice is warm! YUMMY! =D

Assorted sashimi - salmon, butter fish, white fish, surf clam, makerel
- the makerel are SO BAD! they are dry and salty.......
- the sashimi are just so-so....

Arctic roll 北極雪卷
- the WORST arctic roll i ever had!!! Don't try it at Maison du Japon!
- the rice paper that wraps the roll is SO HARD! disgusting texture!! =(

Chicken udon 雞烏冬
- it's alright..nothing special.

UFO 飛碟
- spicy salmon and tobiko (flying fish roe) on top of a yam tempura..
- the yam inside is COLD, SO DISGUSTING.... =/
- the tempura is hard.. =/

Pop corn chicken 日式脆脆雞
- It's pretty good! =)

Desserts (Plain Cheese Cake, Mocha Mousse Cake, Mango Mousse Cake, Mango Pudding, Jello)
- the plain cheese cake (the 1st one) IS SO DRYY! 好難食 x_x"
- the mocha mousse cake (the 2nd one) is ALSO SO DRY!!
- the mango mousse cake (the 3rd one) is not bad, pretty good! =)
- the mango pudding (the 4th one) IS TOTALLY tasteless and hard.....the sauce on top is the mango sauce.
- the jello (the last one) is grape flavour. Not bad =) but as you can see the jello powder is not fully dissolved hahaha =P


Environment

- After the renovation, the place looks so much better
- however, the seats are still really uncomfortable =/

- the spoons for dessert: so dirty =_=""



**probably won't visit again, because it's nothing special.. =/

another very satisfying dinner @ Sano Sushi =)
the boss serve us sushi & sashimi on the biggest boat in the restaurant! Thank you!!
He said he had never used this big boat before, it's so sweet of him!! He even took a camera out to take a picture of the boat.

I covered up my friends' faces lol! I dont think they want to be exposed.

I used to go to Syogun a lot before I started going to Sano Sushi. I stopped going because first I wanted to try something new, second the service was not good =/ But it seems like the service has improved..

Seaweed salad 海草沙律

Miso soup 面豉湯
- i love it =) it taste good (the miso soup @ Sano Sushi is tasteless.)

Spider roll (soft shell crab roll) 軟殼蟹卷
- I like how they only give you 4 pieces, so I can try the other rolls
- the roll is too big though! no good!

Flying Dragon roll 飛龍卷
- shrimp tempura, cucumber, avocado, crab meat, crispy flakes, salad dressing & flying fish roe
- again, roll too big =/

Eel sushi
- as you can see, no sauce on the eel =/

Sushi (flying fish roe, spicy salmon, scallop, shrimp) 
壽司 (飛魚子, 辣三文魚, 帶子, 蝦)
- the shrimp is so fresh! yummy
- the spicy salmon sushi is not spicy enough =/ kinda tasteless

Spicy white tuna hand roll & Spicy salmon hand roll
- no good! they are not spicy enough =/ there are only a few drop of spicy sauce in it
- DON'T like the white tuna =( it's still frozen in the inside!! ARGH disgusting.

Sashimi (salmon, white tuna, red snapper, surf clam, sweet shrimp, and herb white tuna in the bowl)
刺身 (三文魚, 白吞拿, 立魚, 北極貝, 甜蝦, 勺草白吞拿)
- the sweet shrimp is soo good!!! so fresh & yummy
- the herb white tuna in the bowl was ok.. nothing special
- the white tuna is disgusting! it's still frozen in the inside (soft on the outside, and hard frozen in the inside)

Beef sashimi 牛肉刺身
- it's so far the best beef sashimi compare to the other ALL YOU CAN EAT Jap place
- it's thin slice and fresh! =)

Wasabi Mussel 芥末青口
- I used to love the wasabi mussel here but the taste is not as strong as before.. not wasabi-ed enough =/
- the mussel itself is so fatty & fresh! =)

Takoyaki (fried squid ball) 章魚小丸子
- it's good! =)

Japanese style fried spring roll 日式春卷仔
- it's vegetable inside
- it's alright, nothing special..

Black cod 雪魚西京燒
- it's sweet & yummy!

Short ribs 果汁燒牛仔骨
- it's so tender! so YUMMY!! =D love it!

Garlic beef 蒜香牛仔粒
- it's tender & tasty =)

Shrimp tempura 大蝦天婦羅
- too much batter. you can see big pieces of batter on the shrimp. I have to use chopstick to crush out the extra big pieces of batter

Garlic + butter mushroom 蒜蓉牛油白菌
- the mushroom are so big, however I prefer them slice into half.
- they change the sauce =( I used to LOVE this dish, but now it just taste ok. The sauce before was white creamy buttered garlic sauce.. I asked why they change the sauce, they said the sauce before takes too long to cook =/

Golden Scallop 帶子黃金燒
- it's so good! =)
- it has salad dressing in it (a bit sweet-sour taste) yummy!

Osaka ramen 大板拉麵 (豬骨湯)
- the soup base is pretty good!
- the noodles are good! yummy!

Green tea ice cream
- dessert: only ice creams (green tea, red bean, and mango)
- the ice cream are all pre-scooped and put into the fridge so the ice cream are all frozen & hard

Environment
- the place is nice and spacious
- the place is so nice that you couldn't tell it's a all you can eat place if you haven't been told
- the seats are big, cushioned and comfortable!
