Sapporo Sushi is my all time favourite sushi take-out place. However, the last few take out are not as good. I realize their boss is not around and the server told me he's on vacation. I hope the boss is coming back soon!
Sushi party tray (medium) $35
- the menu says it serves 2-3 guests
- there are 30 sushi and 18 rolls
- ROLLS: the rolls are usually California rolls (But I ask them to change ALL the rolls to Spicy Salmon rolls - it's free of charge to change to Spicy Salmon rolls. However, if you want to change to OTHER rolls, lets say spider rolls and stuff, there might be extra charge.)
- Spicy Salmon rolls: it's so good! LOVE it! However, it's wrapped a bit loose! 包得太鬆, 散散地. It wasn't like that before, I guess it's because the Boss is on vacation & the other Sushi Chefs are not as good as the Boss... so they made the rolls not as good.
- SUSHI: Salmon, Red Tuna, White Tuna, Red Snapper, Eel, Shrimp
- The 4 Uni Sushi you see in the picture are NOT included in the party tray. Uni Sushi are $6 (2 pieces)
- Uni Sushi: SO FRESH SO YUMMY! Its Uni Sushi are better than the ones at the other sushi take out place!
- Shrimp Sushi: The shrimps are so BIG so fresh!!
- Eel Sushi: The eel are so good!! So fatty so yummy! =D
- Red Tuna Sushi: The red tuna is so yummy! =)
- Salmon Sushi: The salmon is so fatty! so good!!
Environment:
- The place is so small & cozy
- It's always packed - FULL of people! no matter weekends or weekdays..
Food:
- the sashimi are so fresh & fatty! YUMMY!
- it usually takes them 30-45 minutes to prepare a party tray. So you could just call in to order so you don't have to sit there for so long to wait for the party tray.
Service:
- servers are nice & friendly
- HOWEVER!!! POOR ENGLISH! Keep misunderstanding what I wanted. I never had that experience before, THIS TIME it's disappointing! Here's what happened:
I asked for a medium sushi party tray, and I want ALL the rolls Spicy Salmon rolls, also I wanted them to replace 4 Salmon sushi in the tray with 4 Uni sushi!
When I get there, they gave me a medium sushi party tray with..
1. ALL California rolls!!! (I asked for Spicy Salmon rolls).
2. And they ADDED 4 Salmon sushi for me. So all together they gave me a medium sushi party tray, 4 uni sushi, 4 salmon sushi!? (I said replace with 4 Uni sushi, NOT adding 4 EXTRA Salmon sushi!! So all I want is to replace 4 Salmon sushi in the tray with 4 Uni sushi! NOT to add any EXTRA SALMON SUSHI OR EXTRA UNI SUSHI on the side! OMG!!)
