Congee stand 懷舊街邊粥檔

WA LA ! ! ! Finally finished my congee stand! *clap clap clap*so happy!
It took me 8-10 hours to finish the whole stand.

Most of the things below are made out of clay (the food, the chinese wok, the sauces)

Front view of the congee stand ..
TA DA! my congee stand!

Lets start with the right side of the stand ..
Two bowls of preserved egg & pork congee 皮蛋瘦肉粥. On top of the congee, there is preserved egg 皮蛋, pork 瘦肉, and the yellow strips are ginger strips 薑絲, and the green thing are diced green onion 蔥.

Next to the two bowls of congee, there are two dishes of steamed rice roll 蒸腸粉, and those four little bowls are sauces: soy sauce 鼓油, peanut butter sauce 花生醬, hoi sin sauce 海鮮醬, hot sauce 辣醬.

Behind the sauces, there is a dish of preserved egg and green onion for the congee.

Next to the steamed rice roll, there's a tray of fried dough 油炸鬼, 牛利酥, 咸煎餅 (from right to left)

Here is the back side of the congee stand.

Chinese fried dough inside the Chinese wok, the yellow thing is boiling oil. Again, everything here is made out of clay (the Chinese wok, the fried dough) except for the chop stick, the pair of chop stick is just two toothpicks.

Next to the Chinese wok, there's a steaming "container" with steamed rice roll inside and a chopping board.
Chopping board: There is a raw dough on top of the chopping board and there's a blade 刀片 on top of the raw dough for slicing it up, the white powder around the chopping board and the dough is the flour.

  11. Ng...How could you have a black one. Ah you can have the black new one placed in a different corner. If they need to be side by side then will be a pair with the same color. I see your situation!

  16. The cheapest I can find is home depot at about $7 or $8. It is difficult to find the bulb especially for 10W. Not always available!
